Mia LaVana builds at the intersection of psychology and performance. A poet and actor with a business background, she studies how belief drives behavior, and how behavior drives results. Whether on stage or on screen, her work translates emotional depth into execution.

Mia LaVana is an author, entrepreneur, founder, and actor who has built her career by following curiosity, taking risks, and refusing to stay in one lane.

Raised in California with humble beginnings, Mia learned early that building the life you want sometimes means creating opportunities before they exist. That mindset has carried her through every chapter of her career, from publishing and performance to entrepreneurship and business leadership.

Her debut book, FUMES, reached #1 on Amazon’s New Releases list in 2022. The deeply personal work explored identity, relationships, growth, and the experiences that shape who we become, connecting with readers through its honesty, humor, and vulnerability.

Since then, both Mia and her work have evolved.

A graduate of the University of California, Riverside School of Business, Mia has spent years building businesses, leading teams, managing multi-million-dollar purchasing, and working behind the decisions that drive revenue and growth.

In $80K Days: The Buyer Strategy, Mia brings executive-level thinking to one of the most influential roles in retail: the buyer. Drawing from years inside high-volume operations, she examines how purchasing decisions shape revenue, margin, cash, customer demand, vendor relationships, and ultimately the direction of the business.

For Mia, the book represents more than a new subject. It reflects the natural evolution of a career spent learning how ideas become businesses, how decisions become results, and what it really takes to build something that lasts.

Beyond the page, Mia is a trained actor in television, film, and voiceover, continuing to explore creativity through performance.

There has never been just one version of Mia LaVana. Her career is a reflection of what can happen when you give yourself permission to grow, change direction, and take everything you have learned into the next room.

And if there is one idea that connects each chapter, it is this: you are allowed to evolve.
